Week 6 - How to care for our body and brain.

Friday was an exciting day because Room 5, 7 and 8 got together to watch a documentary about the brain. Please enjoy the video below that we really enjoyed.

We learned that it is very important to care for our body and brain by:
  • drinking lots of water
  • getting lots of sleep and rest
  • ensuring we are not too hot or too cold
  • maintain a healthy diet that is not too high in sugar
  • have regular brainbreaks
  • use the brain often and do lots of challenges to help our brain work faster and improve our memory.

  2. Drinking lots of water is important. But when should you go to bed? And how much sleep should you get when you are there?

    1. 7.30 is a good time to go to bed and you get up after about 12 hours sleep

    we are learning about fractions in room 8 for maths and i really like it because it my favourite thing.
