Please enjoy our Picasso portraits. We looked at different portraits the artist Picasso had done. We discussed and identified that the key concept to drawing a Picasso portrait is to draw two sides to a face that are the opposite or at least look very different.
We then went off and drew our own Picasso influenced portrait of a buddy in class. We had to draw in pencil first, then we used pastels to colour in the portraits, and lastly we used black pastel to outline the facial features like eyes, nose, ears, and mouth.

ReplyDeleteI really like how you've displayed your students work online like this, if I had to pick one favourite and its really hard because I like all of the pictures I think that Campbells looks really striking with neat use of colour and Ayshia's one because of all the different colours that she has used.
