Week 1 of our first term back!

Room 7 has had a very busy first week at school! It has been lots of fun getting to know each other.
We have been busy planning our classroom rules as a class as well as talking about how to make our classroom a happy, safe place to learn in. 

We read "Have you filled a bucket today?" to help us think more deeply about how we treat others. 

We learned about the Treaty of Waitangi, started reading our classroom novel, "Billionaire Boy". We are practicing learning our mihimihi as well as learning about our family.

It is exciting that we are swimming in week 2 everyday in the middle block. Don't forget your togs.

Middle School Art Rotations!

We have been very busy learning different and creative new art forms as part of the Middle School art rotation. We are going to display all of our hard work as an art gallery to showcase our talents. Please enjoy a sneak peek of photo's of what we have created so far! More to come, stay tuned!

Whoa! What a full on couple of weeks Room 7 has had!! A big congratulations to Olivia, Kyla and Grace for participating in the Middle School Frankton's Got Talent competition. 

Well done to Kyla and Grace who came first!!! Woohoo!!
